INGREDIENTS (serves 1)

4 tbsp of jumbo oats

1 tbsp of ground flaxseeds

A sprinkle of nuts and seeds

Ca. 5 walnut halves

A sprinkle of raisins

1/2 apple, chopped into small pieces

A choice of your milk to soak and serve your muesli mix in


Combine oats with ground flaxseeds, nuts and seeds and walnut halves and pour enough milk over this to cover your mixture.

Set aside and soak for a while, but at least half an hour until the oats have softened.

Top with your cut up pieces of apple. Voila


  1. The raisins should make this muesli mix sweet enough, but feel free to use bits of dried apricot or dates instead.
  2. You could always heat the soaked mix until warm if you prefer to eat this hot rather than cold.
  3. Try making up big batches of the muesli mix so that you have it ready to use as and when you need it.
